The process of making the horror movie poster was me taking inspiration from a character I illustrated named Alice the Moon Dancer. She’s a creepy clown that can contort her body in unnatural ways and focuses more on psychological horror. It’s all about the idea of Alice being a real monster versus her being an illusion that can scare people. With that idea set, I wanted to design my poster to be unsettling in a unnatural way. This resulted in me making a photo composite.
